Danger Zone '08, was once again held at Mooney Grove Park in Visalia, California, and it was unreal. The reputation of the show brought out all of the big hitters from the Central Valley area-and then some. What was once a small area for the custom-truck scene has exploded into a mini- and fullsize-truck mecca. Central California has overtaken Southern California in the custom-truck world as the dominant force in the West.
All of the familiar elements of a great show were present, with a hop-off contest, hot ladies, shiny trophies, and a great environment. Roulette, the owner of Mad House FX, kept the music going all day to keep our ears entertained. Unfortunately, Joey the midget was unable to attend, because of too many social relations. Did we forget to mention the abundance of killer rides and scrumptious eye candy? We're sure there's a lot more to come from this show. Central California has definitely come out of the closet, and it let the world know how Central Cali puts it down.
