What better way to bring the show season to a close than to hang out with 1,500 of your closest friends? Well, that's exactly what was on the minds of the NorCal Twisted Images crew, so they decided to throw an end-of-the-year Halloween Bash...Twisted style. With access to FBI's facilities in Sac Town, Cali (Thanks, Steve!) plans were set to have a show 'n' shine and to just enjoy the company of all the NorCal locals while giving everyone a chance to see familiar faces and gawk over everyone's hard work one last time before the rides went back into the garage for more mods.

At first the show started as just a little get-together, but it quickly grew to over 125 vehicles and more than 1,500 spectators. It was really cool to see that kind of support from so many clubs and to see an entire mini-truck community culminate the show year in style. Besides, for the rides that were on hand, full tours were being conducted throughout the day of FBI's brand new facilities. Not only did this keep the showgoers busy, but we also got a chance to check out all the new goodies that FBI has been cooking up. (Look for the tour in an upcoming issue.) There were also vendors on hand that offered custom pinstriping; and James Cashman from Cashman Customs got busy showing the crowds his skills with an airbrush gun.

Folks, food, drinks, badass rides, and custom built trophies from the Twisted crew were just a few of the things on everyone's mind. "Best Mini-Truck" went to Chad Copper, and the ever-coveted "Most Illegal" trophy went to Jeff Sullivan. The prestigious "Best of Show" SHIU Memorial trophy went to Joe Bernardo and his Feb '04 MT cover truck. "Lowest" (and one of the coolest trophies that Twisted built) went to Matt Nietschke. If you missed it last year, don't make the same mistake. Make sure to come out and support your local mini-truck scene.
