Heatwave has always been an event that's been in its own class. With tons of impressive headlining musical acts performing over the years, and some of the best, and oddest, side attractions, Heatwave has always been much more than just a car and truck show.
Aside from the packed show field, Heatwave 2011 featured a tattoo contest, a USACi audio battle, a b-boy battle, and live hip-hop groups took over the outdoor stage. Of course, standard burnout and bikini contests were also held at the show, but to take things to a different level, Side Show Frank was brought in to "wow" onlookers with a creepy truck pull. You really need to check out the photos to see what we're talking about.
When it comes to three-day shows, Heatwave is still a major contender in the game. Be there in 2012 to see for yourself.
