In its sixth year, Battle Drag continues to bring a lively minitruck show to the outskirts of Houston, Texas. 2010 proved to be a huge year for the up-and-coming veteran show as the event grew 28 percent from ’09 with 428 vehicles from as far away as North Carolina and Mexico on display and more than 2,500 spectators crashing the gates throughout the weekend.
Aside from the rows of minis and other pieces of auto eye candy, Battle Drag offered those in attendance a BMX stunt exhibition, a display of live, on-site graffiti writers doing their thing, and all sorts of club-sponsored contests and games. The trophies, custom-painted guitars, that were being handed out really had registrants feverishly clawing to claim one.
Didn’t make it out this Battle Drag VI? Sucks to be you, but don’t worry, there’s always next year. Congratulations to the Damage Inc. crew for another successful show.
