Cover and feature trucks owners came out to show their support.
W-Stock went from a basic gathering in past years to a full-on show this year. Although the change made the event bigger, it didn't sway from the minitrucker-appreciation event we have come to know and love.
This year's event came on a semi-gloomy day in Hockley, Texas, but even a little drizzle couldn't stop the fun. The club games were a major hit as always. The tug-o-war was battled out between Aftermath and Vertically Challenged, with the Aftermath crew taking the win. Shortly after the tug-o-war finished it was time for the club chug relay races. Fellow club members lined up on each side of the table and raced through the chug. Follow that up with spinning around five times and trying to make shots at redneck golf, and you have a really fun-to-watch relay race. Vertically Challenged club member, Whataburger, tried to top the Guinness World Record for beer chugging. After a great attempt, he came up just short of the 6-second record.
The ongoing tug-o-war battle was won by Aftermath.
Since this show is all about fun, tons of events are designed to be just as fun to watch as they are to participate in-full- contact musical chairs is the perfect example. Token, Chingo Bling, the infamous Cat, and a couple others battled it out in this year's hard-hitting musical chair competition. Cat left with a scraped-up knee, every chair ended up broken, and it came down to Chingo Bling and Token. They battled it out for the top spot with Token just barely getting the final chair. And as always, DJ MurderHill was on site settin' the mood all day long.
After the show, everyone headed over to Purple Rayne for the Crime Pays Video release and afterparty. The drinks were flowing and Peter Griffin made his presence known on the dance floor. The PEvents crew would like to thank everyone for coming out and showing their support for all their shows year after year. JP would like to personally thank KIK, Crime Pays Video, Gator Skinz, Kustom Werx paint and body, Mini Truckin' magazine, Fat Rob's Customs, and Battle Drag for sponsoring and supporting this event.
Tito's S-10 cover truck was in the hands of a happy new owner.
