This year was our first Gator Drag, but it was on our short list of shows to attend now that we live in Texas. Brandon and his crew have hosted this event for the last six years, so they knew they needed to go over the top for 2009.

Gator Drag has found a new home in Texas for their sixth annual show. Houston is a hot-bed for truck action in Texas. With shops like Extensive Metal Works, KustomWerx Autobody, Chaotic Rod and Customs, and many more, you're always guaranteed some fresh new projects that are sure to blow your mind. Up for grabs this year were some of the coolest trophies ever given away. There were the Top 75 belt buckles provided by KustomWerx as well as a Best Debut wall-light trophy that went to the "Trandem-axle" mini of Steve Francis. Last but not least, Chaotic brought out custom body-dropped wagons for the Best Of Show winners. We also have to mention the club events got a little crazy thanks to JP and John Salas. Who knew a simple tug of war could be so entertaining? And the bikini contest was one of the best in 2009. There was also a minitrucker "Fear Factor" that you have to see to believe! For 2010 Gator Drag is bringing in the big guns and they're having Negative Camber host the show. There are a few other surprises they can't let out of the bag just yet, but keep checking for all the updates. See you there next year!
