When we moved to Houston, the first thing people told us was that there were two shows you have to attend. One was Weeniestock, and the other was Battle Drag.

So on a windy and cold November Saturday we headed to the Battle Drag show with some of the host club members from Damage Inc. This was our first real truck show since moving to Texas, and the first real truck show in town since Hurricane Ike. Even though the weather was a little cold and windy, they still had over 400 vehicles and another couple thousand spectators roll through the gates.

The best thing about this show is the family atmosphere. Everyone walked around from group to group talking to everyone else because we all share a similar passion. The awards wrapped up a little after five with custom airbrushed skateboard decks going to the winners. If you find yourself in the Houston area in November, make sure you check out a great show that has a little something for everyone.
