South Texas is known for non-stop events that provide the region with tons of great shows every year.
For 2008, Mark Fehrle decided to add his own contribution to this show scene in the way of the Texas Motor Sports Expo, an event that combines all type of vehicles into one show. With more than 300 quality rides in attendance, Texas MotorSports Expo is a new face in a very populated region.
The Ford Pavilion in Beaumont, Texas, was the chosen site for this two-day event and the show was held April 11-13. Beaumont by itself has a major custom truck scene but once you combine that with Houston and Louisiana being close-by, this show is destined to become a major player in the scene. Many of the area's hottest trucks attended this inaugural event. Since this is an expo, there were also many sick hot rods and bikes to check out as well. Overall, the vehicle quality was very high and there were even a few rides that made their first appearance at this very show. Vendors played another huge factor in the success of the Texas Motor Sports Expo. With vendors such as Ford on tap showing off their latest products, there were some major players to keep everyone entertained. You could also find several topnotch shops showing off some of their latest projects. With an excellent attendance and backed by major sponsors, Texas Motor Sports Expo served as a great start to a show with a bright future. This show has a very friendly, family atmosphere making it a great show to spend quality time with your kids. So if you're looking for a new event to try for 2009, make sure you consider this one as it's only going to get bigger and better.
