As show season starts winding down, a group of Texas showpromoters keep the good times rolling by hosting a collaboration called Weeniestock. Taking place on the grounds of Bagwurx Customs, a custom shop located right outside of Houston, Texas, Weeniestock is not only a truck show, it's an absolutely free truck show. And free entrance isn't the only perk. It's just the beginning of how these appreciative promoters planned to thank those for attending their shows throughout the year.
As vehicles were parked and tents were set up, the Weeniestock crew got busy firing up the custom shopping cart grill and passing out free hot dogs to everyone. As if that weren't enough, there's free beer for those who were of legal drinking age. What more could a person want? How about a day of fun and games? Weeniestock has that, too.
The whole reason behind Weeniestock is to gather clubs and friends together and have fun. So, a gang of outrageous games were on tap for the crowd to enjoy throughout the day, ranging in acts from out-chugging show-friend "Whataburger" to a fear-factor contest in which contestants ate dog treats and licked each other's sweaty armpits, Weeniestock had something for all clubs to participate in. Two of Houston's local bands were also called upon, along with local DJs to provide music throughout the day. As the beer and hot dogs began to run out, the awards which were custom-made at the show, were given out for club games. Then everyone packed up and headed off, leaving trails of sparks behind them.
Weeniestock was the perfect way for this group of Texas show-promoters to say thank you to their participants. A good time was had by all, there are plans to throw the one-day show again next year. Keep your schedule open in mid-October.
