As part of our special Texas issue, we wanted to include what started as a charity event for a club member, and has become an annual Lone Star State tradition. The Texas chapter of Severed Ties decided to put on a benefit show to help raise money for one of its members who was in need. Little did they realize, the giving nature of fellow Texans would turn this event into a yearly tradition. This show proved just how big the truck scene is in Texas, which hosts numerous events with large turnouts. The number of people who came out to support the cause didn't dilute the quality of the event. Watch for this show to blossom in the coming years.
