If you went to a hot-rod show or a lowrider show in the rain and it wasn't cancelled, it would usually look like a ghost town. But, it poured cats and dogs at Texas Showdown and the parking lot kept filling up. Spectators went to their cars, sat the rain out, then came back in through the gate. We couldn't believe it. A little rain wasn't going to stop this show; it went on without a problem.
