You definitely know when you’re in South Carolina. Every other business is named "Palmetto" something or other, but that just goes to show the amount of pride South Carolinians have for their great state. Another source of pride these Southern folks hold dear is the sacred pastime of minitruckin.

In its ninth year, Southeast Showdown proved to be on top of its game with nearly 400 vehicles showing off and 1,500 spectators stopping to take it all in. The Anderson Motor Speedway was packed with cool rides of all kinds, some new and exciting builds, and a few classics that never get old. To break up the monotony of just sitting in the lawn chair chugging beers, the SESD crew organized a downhill kart race, a few games, and of course, a cutie contest featuring the finest of Southern ladies. See ya next year for the 10th anniversary, South Carolina.
