Finding a show that has stood the test of time and hung around for almost two decades is pretty rare-but not for Charlie Cobble and the crew that runs Slammin' & Jammin'.

This is their seventeenth year, and once again they pulled off another killer show. Other than a few storms moving through late Friday afternoon, the weather was perfect (well, a little hot, but that's to be expected in the summer months). This show also hosts one of the largest bikini contests in the Southeast due to the huge cash payouts. This year, there were 30 girls entered to keep the crowd entertained and out of the sun under a covered pavilion during midday heat. The burnout contest also kept the crowd busy, as 24 vehicles tore the rubber from their wheels.

As we go to press, we just found out this was the last year Slammin' & Jammin' will be held in Lebanon. It's being moved to a bigger and better location and will bring back the on-site camping as well as the drag-and-brag contest, both of which were canceled the past couple of years. All of the new info will be set by the time you read this, so check out the website in the Show Lowdown for all the info.
