Seriously though, who in his semi-right mind doesn't enjoy a three-day weekend? You get that extra day of sleeping in, that extra day of hanging with friends, that extra day of yard work... OK, well maybe that's not a plus, but you do get an extra night to goof off.

There's just more time to do what you enjoy, period! Well, this year the creative minds behind Scrapin' the Coast gave us an extra day of the largest show in the South. Yes, you heard right, Scrapin' the Coast became a three-day event in 2010, and it did it in STC grand fashion. Over 2,000 rides from all over the country descended on Biloxi, Mississippi, yet again to create one of the hottest collections of show rides in the country. Although the heat in the South this time of year might just make you simmer in your shorts, no one seemed to mind at all. During the day, everyone walked the newly renovated and expanded show grounds, checking out all the rides plus all of the merchandise and food vendors, who thankfully sold plenty of water and lemonade. Then, once the sun went down you could either hit one of the many casinos or hit the strip for some great cruisin'. With a three-day show there was more time to do it all!

Be sure to check out Scrapinthecoast.com for info on next year's event because some ideas are in the works that could make this show bigger and better still!
