When two heavy hitters join forces, the results are twice as good. Charlie Cobble has been active in the show scene for more than two decades, putting on several shows a year, including the Mini Truckin' Nationals and Slammin' and Jammin' in Lebanon, Tennessee. Michael Myers of NOPI fame, added his talents to the weekend get together in Knoxville, guaranteeing a nonstop, party weekend with all the legendary NOPI attractions. The 11th annual event had everything: from babes in bikinis looking to capture the $1,000 prize, to Zee cars drifting sideways with crowd pleasing action. The Chilhowee Park added to the fun with its winding roads and scenic lakes, complete with fountains. As an added treat, the event was broadcast on 98.3 FM throughout the weekend so you could keep track of all the action.

This show is always characterized by lots of activity and lots of opportunities for trophies beginning with the 160 different classes for show competitors. There were a dozen truck Specialty Awards, along with the Ultimate 10 Awards to increase your chances of going home with gold. Daniel Dennison from Maynardville, Tennessee, captured the Mini Truckin' Editor's Choice with his highly modified '88 Nissan Hardbody. Vapors Car Club took home the 6-foot Club Participation Award.
