The Gulf of Mississippi will never be the same as it was before the Katrina storm had blown through a few years ago. Cruising the strip, we had many memories of the past: the Red Lobster, the old hotels, and the old Pirate Casino. One thing that hasn't changed since the storm is the minitrucker attitude of having fun and enjoying the biggest show in the gulf and surrounding area.
This year's Scrapin' the Coast was bigger than expected and it was popping at the seams. Greg Miller said he expects it only to grow more in the years to come, and we agree. The show staff is friendly, courteous, and ready to give help. We can't wait until next year's show to enjoy the sea-the sea of minitrucks that is.
