Chevy Truck's HAVOC 2006 - Road Trip

The SNC crew gathered with all the down peeps from Florida, ready to make the 13-hour trek to Louisville, Kentucky.

With the trailers loaded we could be on our way.

Well, so much for open road!

The cruise stopped at Seriously Insane Auto Concepts of Knoxville, Tennessee, where they were hooked up with a BBQ lunch in the shop.

Load up the Hummer, gas up the diesel, and rock 'n' roll.

And just like that, everyone made it safe and sound to Louisville. Wow, no problems along the way. Let's hope the Texas crew had just as good of luck.

Well, after the museum stop it was smooth sailing from there. Just like the other leg of the cruise, no unexpected problems. (Now, that's a first. Let's not curse the trip home. HAHA)

Both legs of the cruise to HAVOC arrived Friday afternoon at the Louisville Convention Center. Everything was unloaded and given a final wipe-down for the show. The beauty of indoor shows (besides no annoying bugs, sunburns, and so on) is that it was the last time anyone had to clean their vehicles for the whole weekend.

Bill just couldn't help himself. He had to make a stop-off at the National Corvette Museum.

At the other end of the cruise down in Texas there were still some last-minute touches to make on the body-dropped Ekstensive Hummer.
