Throwing a show ain’t easy these days, and establishing a name for a brand new one is even tougher. In only its second year, Show Off Showdown—a Twisted Koncepts event, proved that the success of the inaugural show wasn’t a fluke.
Rain seems to a reoccurring trend this year at a lot of the shows we’ve hit this year, especially the day leading up to the show. This is exactly what happened to the Twisted crew, but this year’s turnout was still decent enough, and those who had enough balls to weather the storm were rewarded with dry skies the rest of the weekend. And under all that blue and white atmosphere were exciting games of kickball being played, moneymakers of scantily-clad females shaken on the main stage, sounds of live DJ mixing pounding on eardrums, and best of all, customs of all kinds shimmering in broken sunlight. The events of the entire weekend were far more poetic than words can describe.
Didn’t make it out? You totally missed out then. But don’t fret, next year’s Showdown will be bigger and better, AND there may be a very cool surprise opportunity for race fans or those ready to take the next step up from indoor go-karting. That’s all we’re at liberty to discuss at the moment. Until next year, Minnesota!

The TK army still standing strong after a long weekend.
If they made S-10s in the ’50s this is what they would look like.
Look at those original graphics! We love to see layed out survivors.
