The guys and gals at Kicker have been itching to throw a party at their Stillwater, Oklahoma, headquarters. And these guys aren't stiff corporate suits.
They are Dickies-wearing, flat bill-toting, rocker-laying minitruckers who travel all over the country promoting Kicker's "Living Loud" motto.
Kicker opened up its home base for all to explore during its first Summer Bash show and open house. The Kicker crew gave visitors all-access tours from their museum to the shipping docks all weekend long, which was a real behind-the-scenes treat for lovers of loud music. Not only did the great employees hand out awesome Kicker products, they were also giving away Oakley sunglasses, Makita power tools, Air Lift 'bags, and Kinetik batteries to the winners of the many games being played throughout the two-day event.
If that wasn't enough incentive enough to check out the event, Kicker was also having a sale on old stock, so for those not lucky enough to get any freebies, the prices were too low to not leave with a handful of speakers. And for those not taking home a Best Of award on Sunday, brand-new iKick iPod speaker docks were also given away. The craziest award of the weekend had to be the Best of Show trophy, which was made out of a fully functional Warhorse amp. The MSRP on that amp alone is $10,000!
The Kicker crew is looking to open up its facility again next year, so plan accordingly-you don't want to miss this show!
