The truck limbo was a huge hit as many trucks lined up to compete.
There aren't a lot of shows in Ohio, but the ones they have are always home runs! The 6th Annual Dropt N Destroyed was no exception to that rule.
Like we always say, when you have a show for minitruckers by minitruckers, you can bet you will have an awesome time. Saturday morning we were greeted with a long line waiting to get into the show. The heavy rains of the previous week had made it a little tricky, but soon everyone made it in and the show was in full swing. There is definitely a strong minitruckin' scene in Ohio, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of trucks that this show produces year after year.
Saturday evening was one we will not soon forget. When we returned to the host hotel after dinner, we were greeted with a live DJ in the parking lot, beer pong championships, and enough fun to go around. Sunday morning came too early after the wild evening, but we headed back to the show to enjoy the events planned for the day. First up was the truck/car limbo, which was very popular, and right after was followed by the one of the coldest bikini contests in recent memory, making it much more fun to watch than participate in.
On a very sad note, the father of Aaron Combs (show promoter and Dropt Out club president) passed away March 27, 2010. His parents have been huge supporters of this event every year and graciously fed the entire staff as well as the vendors all weekend long. It is not too often you find parents this supportive of what we do, so to lose one is very sad indeed. Our support and prayers go out to Aaron and his entire family. Make sure to come out and support this show this year!
One of the coolest Under Construction awards we have ever seen.
The bikini contest was hot even though it was so cold.
