Indy did it again with yet another great car and truck show that left us saying, "I'll definitely be back." This year's Slamology, which was presented by Blossom Chevrolet and hosted by Gauge magazine, was held again at the Marion County Fairgrounds on the Southeast side of the racing capitol of the world, Indianapolis, Indiana. However, this year's event was held on June 23-24 instead of Labor Day Weekend. The date change proved to be a success, as there were more entries than previous years, even through the rain. It just goes to show, yet again, a good show will bring out the true minitruckers- despite a temperamental Mother Nature.
The main stage was filled with more than 40 entertainers and bands, which performed all weekend long. Music ranged from rap to rock to reggae. The stage was cleared on Saturday afternoon to make way for the beautiful ladies who competed for the Ms. Slamology title and cash prizes. This year, the lovely Samantha took down the competition.
Saturday was also the day of high-flying hydraulics and where the air competition took place. For the two-wheel fans and thrill-seekers, there was the Audio Source freestyle show, which showcased the stunt team Vertical Limits throughout the weekend.
Next year, when you're looking for a good show and good times, mark the calendar to attend Slamology.
