HAVOC Havasu, presented by Truckin', Diesel Power, 8-Lug, Mini Truckin' & Sport Truck magazines, took over Lake Havasu at the beautiful London Bridge Resort and featured some of the best high-end fullsizes, minis, and boats nationwide. A vendor village, show-'n'-shine competition, raffle, and bikini contest added to the great rides. Triple digit temperatures all weekend long meant more sunblock, more skin showin', and the perfect opportunity for tanning, boating, and swimming, in addition to cruising!
The weekend started off with the one and only Truckin' Havasu State 2 State Cruise, which met up in Orange County (California) Friday morning at Ultra Wheels, and ventured to Hooters in Anaheim, and finally JBM before hitting solid southern California traffic on the journey to Lake Havasu. After some photos in Barstow and hours upon hours in the drivers' seat, the some vehicles that participated in the cruise reached the inviting Arizona destination with enough time to still enjoy the evening (while others straggled in later). With 300ish miles of driving, scorching temperatures, and Friday traffic, the State 2 State Cruise made for one heck of an awesome day with one ultimate goal: arrive in Arizona for the 2007 Havasu HAVOC Show.
