The Dropsicles crew out of Canada may not be the largest club out there, but what they lack in numbers they make up for in dedication. Sideshow has been the fruit of their labor for the last two years, and in that time the city of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada has been getting used to custom mini and fullsize truck invasion.
One-day shows always start up quick and wind down before you know it, but those organizing this event kept every hour entertaining with live DJs, games that drew attention from nearly everybody in attendance, and a ton of big-dollar raffles. And although Sideshow isn’t the biggest show around, it might be one of the most fun as it takes place during the same weekend as the well-established Street Machine rod and custom show that is located around the corner. Lots of cruising took place over the course of the weekend, and the variety of automobiles lurking the streets at night is almost unbelievable.
Sideshow is about as family friendly as a truck show can get while still offering enough for the big kids to come out and play. Thanks to the entire Dropsicles crew for having us out for the show. It is definitely a weekend to look forward to. See you next year, eh!
