The longest-distance award went to this owner, who lives on one of the south islands. He ferried his truck over and then drove almost 20 hours!

Gasket is one of a few rare shops building old hot rods in Japan.

We had quite a few meals at Mooneyes caf including our going-away bash. They had the most American-tasting food we could find besides McDonalds, ha ha!

We lucked out and got to check out the biggest hot-rod show in Japan. The Mooneyes Yokohama indoor show brings out the best rods, custom bikes, and minitrucks from all over the world.

Something you would never see at a show here: the Toyota Stout row!

One of the coolest things about the show is the awards' ceremony. Instead of sitting through class after class of trophies, there are only 15 "Best Of" awarded. Each winner drove his truck through to the stage, accepted his award, and then talked about the truck. It's way cool because you get to see who won what and why.

Ernie tried to sneak this through airport security...no dice.

Not only did we get to drag in Japan, but we even drove and dragged all of the way through the tunnel under the ocean. Freakin' awesome!
