Since 1994 Magnetic Mini's has been hosting their annual Magnetic Mini Bash, held in Berlin, Connecticut, at Sage Park. One of the best parts about the show, besides the awesome display of Northeast rides, is the cash prizes for the "Best of's." This helps bring out the best of the best to compete for the cash! Each year the Magnetic staff does a great job of arranging the show and putting together huge vendors to line the show field, such as Hotwires and Drop 'Em Wear, just to name a few.

Early Saturday morning the staff had their hands full as tons of customs flocked to the show field. The Magnetic Mini crew did a great job of keeping the lines moving and getting people to their respective classes. Once inside, most were putting the final touches on their rides to prepare for the judges and thousands of onlookers that would flood the gates. With well over 500 entries it was tough to find any spots in the park unoccupied. The show had rides stretched from one end to the other, with plenty in between to do and see. Not only were there plenty of rides to look at, but the Magnetic staff kept everyone entertained all weekend long. There were events like the Hydro Hop and Dance, where the participants beat their rides until flames were spewing out the back, and also the Hi/Low, which had a slew of body-dropped trucks lining up to claim their "Lowest" title.

Sunday came and participants poured into the fairgrounds once again for yet another day of spectators drooling over the rides.

As the day went on, most wandered toward the stage for the awards ceremony. Once the staff was prepared, they called the names of the winners to come claim their trophies and prizes. The Magnetic Mini staff had put on one hell of a show again, and every year it just continues to grow. Be sure to check out their site for more info on next year's event: www.magnetic-minis.com. The Magnetic Mini crew would like to thank all the participants, sponsors, vendors, and all who helped make this show possible. All proceeds from the show go to the DARE program and other charitable organizations.
